The journal is published on behalf of the Asian Chemical Editorial Society (ACES), an association of numerous Asian chemical societies, and has a worldwide authorship and readership. It is supported by Chemistry Europe and the Federation of Asian Chemical Societies (FACS). AsianJOC is a sister journal of Chemistry—An Asian Journal and the European Journal of Organic Chemistry (EurJOC), and is the official journal of the Korean Society of Organic Synthesis (KSOS).

This journal is part of a pilot that enables researchers to search and browse over 70,000 articles in 35 journals from four other participating publishers alongside Elsevier-published content on ScienceDirect.
